Credit Card Security Code (CSC) and
Credit Card Identification Number (CID)

The Credit Card Security Number (CSC) or Credit Card Identification Number (CID) is the 3-DIGIT number that is located on the back of your Master Card, Visa or Discover Card and the 4-DIGIT number above the credit card number on the front of your American Express Card. This number is used as an additional security precaution for purchases made using your credit card number.

For MASTER CARD/VISA/DISCOVER:
The three-digit number is printed on the signature panel on the back of Master Card/Visa/Discover cards immediately following the Master Card/Visa/Discover card account number.

 

 

 

For American Express:
The Card Identification Number is the 4 digit, non-embossed number printed above your account number on the face of your card.
